ABOUT ME
I am a graphic designer with 20 years' experience in digital, web and print design. Most recently, I have qualified with a professional diploma in UX design, and begun working in this discipline that combines my obsession with creating beautiful design, a life-long peripheral interest in social psychology, and an absolute determination that everything should be intuitive.
When I'm not working, I can be found travelling to interesting places with my wife, playing, writing and recording music, and helping raise our house rabbit who has both special medical needs and an attitude problem.
SERVICES
UX & UI Design
I can provide work across the whole UX process, from research and analysis to wireframing and prototyping. I've been producing user interface designs since the late '90s – things have changed over the years, but I can make a website or app look good.

From information architecture, sitemaps and content modelling, to hi-fidelity wireframes – I also have experience with HTML, CSS, integrating JavaScript and PHP, and using platforms such as Wix and Webflow to construct responsive websites from scratch.

With an extensive background in print, I have in-depth knowledge of designing at print-res for web, sheet-fed and digital press, including PDF/X standards and colour profiles; pre-press including PDF production, soft and hard proofing; producing style sheets; typesetting to existing style guidelines.

I've spent years producing hand illustrations, both self-started and commissioned. I work in various mediums, from acrylic on canvas to Photoshop and Paint Tool SAI. People seem to like asking me to produce large pictures they can hang on their wall, and who am I to say no?

I have many years of experience in photography, both film and digital; Broncolor lighting systems and Colorama backdrops; directing and carrying out studio photoshoots; photo retouching including skin softening; colour retouching for both digital and print reproduction.
