Amongst the work I've done with independent musician, UnhipKid, are a series of digital artwork for online display. These are essentially record covers that are used for streaming services such as Spotify or iTunes. I produced all of this artwork to full print specification should it be necessary in the future. The approach I took with the artwork was to present photographs in a way that subverted context and allowed them to be viewed in an abstract manner.
One of the interesting things about the publishing service that UnhipKid uses is that you're not allowed to title releases using generic things like 'EP1'. There is also a restriction in putting unrelated text on the artwork, meaning I wasn't able to put something like 'EP1' on the cover. This led me to hiding 'EP#' on all the cover artwork using subtle colour changes and artwork.
