Mild But Tasty Curries

My wife, as well being a copywriter and ex-journalist, is also a very good cook. She loves curries and has become used to altering recipes to accommodate my sensitive palette. Together, we decided to design a book proposal featuring some of her own recipes.
Our photographer friend, Abi, arranged to shoot the dishes and I designed the template for the book.

2015 travels

2015 travels book

My wife and I are keen travellers and love to take photos of the places we see. Although we like to stay away from social media sites, I wanted to collect our photographs in one place.
This specific book collected our travel photos from 2015.

Deichmann ad proposals

I was approached by fashion blog The Fashion Ache about collaborating in a competition run by shoe reseller Deichmann. We decided to produce three 'magazine' DPS ads using the hashtag 'good enough to eat'. We were sent a box of shoes and given about three days to use them as we wished.
I handled the photography and design and we worked together on the styling and ideas.

Shared Nightmare Club

Thoughts of Resurrection album

Musical collective 'The Shared Nightmare Club' approached me about producing a very simple digital cover for their self-released second album. I was briefed to keep the same sort of feel as their first album's cover.
The photography they ended up approving was one I had taken outside a fossil museum on Isle of Wight.

Identity and artwork

Unsigned band 'The Accidental' (not the signed indie-folk band) asked me to design a logo and CD artwork for them.
After designing the logo, I had the idea of the cross-shape randomly turning up in nature, so I took a scalpel to a fallen branch to create the artwork.
